You Can Still Win A Copy of The Girl Who Stopped Swimming by Joshilyn Jackson!

It’s been two months since I posted my June 1st blog entitled Be The 25th Follower of This Blog and Win a FREE Book!. I was trying to hold my first blog contest and the winner would receive a copy of Joshilyn Jackson’s novel, The Girl Who Stopped Swimming. I guess I don’t really know what I’m doing yet because at the rate things are going it will take forever to accumulate 25 followers through Google Friend Connect so I can give away the book. I do have 47 Networked Blog followers through Facebook and they can qualify for this contest as well (if they actually take the time to read my blog).

So, I’ve decided to enter everyone who left me a comment on that blog entry on June 1st and I will enter everyone who leaves me a comment on this blog entry (your suggestions about how to hold a successful blog contest will be most welcome!) and in one week’s time – Saturday, August 8, 2009 – I will put all the names into a hat and draw the winner! I will announce the winner on this blog on Saturday, August 8th at noon and would ask that he or she emails me with their mailing address so I can send you the book.

By the way, there’s another book giveaway contest going on right now for a copy of the delightful and beautifully illustrated children’s book by Camille Blue Amy and Lorena Pugh called Marshall and His Green High-tops. That contest ends at noon today. You still have time to enter!

I look forward to hearing from you and I hope you’re enjoying the summer!

Happy reading,
Christine
