Esteem Rising by Jennifer Chandler

April’s Featured Blog: Esteem Rising by Jennifer Chandler

I enjoy reading Jennifer Chandler’s blog Esteem Rising because Jennifer is an intelligent and interesting woman close to my age who writes about anything and everything that she feels is relevant or simply wants to talk about. She includes light-hearted to emotionally complex personal musings, business related issues, and perceptive social observations and has written about topics as diverse as sexual predators, a holistic approach to work, Haiti, social media, Transport Canada vs. Terrorism, designer Candice Olson, the Olympics, government pensions for serial killers, human trafficking, Jane Goodall’s Reason For Hope DVD, and her struggle with being a chocoholic and trying to refrain from eating chocolate over Easter.

Jennifer believes in the empowerment of women and each month features a Woman of Influence and also highlights a Featured Charity of the Month.

Life Path, Career Path, Path to Service, Path to Greatness, Path to Peace. So many paths to take, encouraging us to begin the journey with our first step, and we are always rewarded. The reward is in the lesson, the vision, the realization of something greater than our minds could conceive. The paths we choose to follow, impact not only ourselves, but also those closest to us. Some paths impact the world and it is in that spirit that this page is created. ~ Jennifer

I never know what Jennifer’s going to write about but I know that it’s always going to be interesting and thought-provoking and I’m going to get to know her better. I have discovered that Jennifer is a wonderful person to know!

Jennifer Chandler is a Career Consultant, Self Esteem Coach and Writer. Her writing has has been featured in articles and magazines all across Canada, including the Edmonton Journal, the Vancouver Sun and Chatelaine Magazine.

From her website:

“Jennifer Chandler owns a successful consulting business and has worked passionately with clients for 20 years in the areas of personal and professional development. She began with a rewarding role as a Victim Services Worker for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and later embarked on a new phase of her professional life as a Certified Career Development Practitioner and Employment Program Coordinator.

Jennifer has enjoyed sharing her knowledge and expertise through published articles, interviews, workshops and one to one coaching. She is particularly interested in the study of women who have influenced our world and is now sharing that interest through blogging and as a writer for TimeFinders Magazine – Worldly Women.

Over the years she has volunteered her time and contributes to various charities locally and worldwide.”

All of this and we share a passion for writing, music, dogs, travel, and home decorating! I can’t think of one single thing that I don’t like about Jennifer Chandler.
