[Toronto, Canada.]  The Road To The Grey Cup is in high gear and for CFL fans, The 103rd Grey Cup Festival Week can be compared to Christmas. Before Winnipeg, Manitoba gets ready to experience snaps, touchdowns and field goals, it will also host live performances from some of Canada’s most illustrious artists including Regina based, multi-SCMA nominee, Alex Runions at RIDERVILLE.

Sponsored by Tourism Saskatchewan, RIDERVILLE features the province’s hospitality, entertainment, and bands while including guests from other CFL teams, contributing to the biggest and best place to be for a Grey Cup Party.

With the launch of Alex Runions’ sophomore CD, SOUTH OF THE CITY and the release of the title track receiving high rotation at country radio nationwide, Grey Cup Festival Week partygoers can expect high energy performances from Runions at RIDERVILLE, at the RBC Convention Centre, 375 York Avenue in downtown Winnipeg as follows:

Thursday, November 26th 5:30 pm to 6:40 pm and (Friday) at 12:10 am – 1:20 am

Friday, November 27th 2:10 pm to 3:20 pm and 8:50 pm to 10:00 pm

Saturday, November 28th 8:50 pm to 10:00 pm

Performing across Saskatchewan and throughout Canada for over a decade, Runions has taken stages at Big Valley Jamboree, Craven Country Jamboree, Dauphin Countryfest and is a regular on the Canadian Country club circuit including Eldorado Country Rock Bar (Regina), Ralph’s (Medicine Hat) and Ranchman’s (Calgary). He’s opened for many prominent country artists including Gord Bamford, Aaron Pritchett and Rodney Atkins while also closing out performances from Dallas Smith, The Road Hammers and Neal McCoy. Runions’ hometown of Kipling, accredited his successes with the placement of two large “Kipling’s Own Alex Runions, Country Recording Artist” signs.

“South of the City”– produced by 2x CCMA Award Winning Studio, MCC Recording Studio in Calgary – is available on iTunes.
