Hello and welcome to Scully Love Promo Reviews! I’m Christine Bode and I’ve been writing CD and concert reviews for a Kingston, Ontario entertainment website owned and operated by the fabulous Chris White called PartyinKingston.com for almost four years. I would like to begin my new blog by sharing my most recent CD reviews for www.partyinkingston.com with you here:
Vancouver, British Columbia’s – The Ormidales
Find out what an ormidale is and why this Canadian genre-bending, melodramatic alt-country and electro-acoustic pop band sounds so decidedly British!
Kingston, Ontario’s – Craig Mcintyre
Find out why Craig’s soulful, rockin’ second CD, Silent, is my favourite CD of 2008!
London, England’s – Andy Smythe
Discover this talented acoustic folk rock artist and why Mike Scott of The Waterboys thinks he’s got it going on in Live For The Future:
Edmonton, Alberta’s – James Murdoch

I hope you enjoy my reviews, which I’ve been told are more like mini biographies. I believe in letting people know as much as I can about the artist because most of them are independent artists whom you may not have heard of…yet!
Scully Love Promo is proud to welcome Kingston, Ontario based singer, songwriter and musician, Craig Mcintyre, to its roster of clients!
Craig Mcintyre was inspired in his early years by an assortment of artists and bands including Bob Seger, Supertramp and Ray Charles to more recent modern acts such as Coldplay, Ray LaMontagne and Jason Mraz. His career took off after winning a contest in his late adolescent years to open for the legendary Tammy Wynette. His first album entitled Down To Me (2004), recorded with 7 time Juno winner Keith Glass of Prairie Oyster, sold in the area of 5,000 copies with medium airplay nation wide and Craig’s music was chosen for a national television show that ran for three seasons. He then toured Canada with the Kubota Cup Equestrian Grand Prix as the chosen entertainer.
Having recently completed his second album Silent – reviewed by PartyinKingston.com at http://www.partyinkingston.com/music/reviews/craigmcintyre2.html – Craig exemplifies a tremendous amount of strength, spirituality, and wisdom beyond his years. McIntyre is climbing the charts as an unsigned artist, currently sitting at number 5 on the MySpace Soul Charts, and receiving over 3000 plays a day. Craig is comfortable sitting at a piano in an intimate setting, or equally as brilliant in front of thousands with nothing but an acoustic guitar. With his dynamic energy and soulful vocals, Craig has been able to create a new style cross-genre of soul music. From his own life long confrontations, to sexy sheet messing love, to questions concerning the destiny of his own soul, Craig Mcintyre delivers.
Craig will be playing his acoustic rock, soul, R&B and alt. country sounds at Chapters Kingston at 2376 Princess Street on Saturday, November 8, 2008 at 7:00 pm.
In the Kingston area you can pick-up a copy of Silent at Chapters, The Kingston Tourist Office, Kingston Mills Esso and Indigo Books & Music. Fans everywhere can order a copy directly from www.craigmcintyre.com or on www.Amazon.com.
Craig Mcintyre has got SOUL and he definitely is one to watch!
